Accreditation & Academics
In March, Crean Lutheran South underwent accreditation review by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), led by Executive Director, Dr. David Brown. The review yieled a three-year clear accreditation decision, prompting Dr. Brown to state, "Crean Lutheran South High School has established a strong foundation of leadership, impressive teacher quality, and a clear sense of purpose. The objective to become a school that is Decidedly Christian, Distinctively Excellent is already becoming a reality at CLSHS.
CLS students Kelsey Lee, Tony Moon, and Huck Jang were accepted into Concordia University’s Chemical Physics Research Institute for High Ability High School Students. This is a significant achievement and honor for these students, their families, and for Crean Lutheran South High School.
Crean Lutheran South High School debuted its first yearbook and its first school newspaper in school history in 2008.
