CLS New Location

We have much to be thankful for at Crean Lutheran. Our students are thriving, enjoying the Decidedly Christian, Distinctively Excellent education that CLS offers. And our school continues to be blessed by support from all corners of Orange County. I encourage you and your children to live in the moment and enjoy every day of the high school years – the years pass too quickly.

We continue to be hard at work planning the new campus. Plans are coming along nicely and we are working diligently to maintain our schedule. The task at hand is large, so your continued prayers and support are needed.

The current U.S. economic conditions bring both opportunities and challenges. The greatest opportunity is that construction prices are finally beginning to soften and we may benefit from lower construction costs. Also, the City of Irvine is anxious to get the Great Park development going (both the public and private portions), and we would be the first private development. So we have the wind in our sails. Consistent with building projects around the country, CLS and its advisers continue to work diligently to organize its debt and equity structure to finance construction. We are in constant communications with our primary debt and equity providers and putting our experience to work to structure a workable plan. And of course the economy also makes our seller's job harder, as they navigate their larger overall development.

Again, there is much hard work on-going and we appreciate your prayers. This is a "God-sized" project and we must turn to Him for guidance, wisdom, support and thanks.

God bless you all.
